Eirik Gulbrandsen is a Special Adviser in The Norwegian Data Protection Authority in the section for technology, security and supervision. In the Norwegian DPA, he works, among other things, to identify and analyze key technology trends and their importance for privacy, in addition to work on regulatory sandbox, supervisory and non-compliance matters.

Gulbrandsen has worked with issues related to security, biometrics, cloud services and artificial intelligence.

Has a background from international technology companies and sits on several public collaboration committees.
