Securing the energy transition
Description

Managing cyber risk is essential for energy companies to realize the energy transition, and it is central for governments and society at large to meet climate goals. This is an increasingly complex challenge because the technologies underpinning the transition are largely digital and scaling rapidly. With this comes cybersecurity risks.

Research from DNV Cyber finds that two in three energy professionals (65%) say their leadership views cybersecurity as the greatest current risk to their business. Almost two-thirds of energy professionals (71%) expect their company to increase investment in cybersecurity this year. Challenges remain, as the energy transition creates new attack surfaces, threat actors become more sophisticated, and geopolitics makes the world more hostile and uncertain.

Join DNV’s Ditlev Engel to explore key trends, challenges, and priorities for the energy industry as the sector manages cybers risk to secure the energy transition.
