This Year’s Themes at V2 Security
This year’s four themes reflect the most pressing challenges faced by both industry and public authorities in a time marked by escalating digital threats. They span the intersection of national security interests, technological development, human behavior, and new regulatory demands – demonstrating why cybersecurity today is an issue for society as a whole.
The Digital Frontline
– Society Under Pressure
Hybrid warfare, attacks on critical infrastructure, and vulnerabilities in the supply chain make cybersecurity a national responsibility. The question is how we, together, can strengthen the defense – from the largest government agencies to the smallest businesses – against advanced and organized threats.
The Technological Arms Race
– Human, Machine & Mathematics
AI, quantum computing, and synthetic realities are changing the game. We are in the midst of a race to understand and harness technologies that can serve both as weapons and as tools. The security of the future depends on our ability to maintain digital trust in a world where reality and manipulation merge.
The Human Defense
– Behavior & Security Culture
Technology alone does not provide protection. A strong security culture and effective workflows are essential to make the best use of resources. This theme highlights how people, processes, and tools together can create a robust internal defense.
Compliance and Governance
– Balancing Risk, Regulation & Business
With NIS2 and rising regulatory demands, cybersecurity is no longer just technical but a strategic task. Success depends on balancing risk, compliance, and business decisions within one framework.
