Tine Tuxen Løvstrand has a background as a low-current engineer and has worked with IT for more than 25 years, of which, 15 years in information security. Tine has been employed in various places such as NNIT, BRFkredit, PET, NNE, and Tryg insurance until she started as a freelance consultant in TineTuxen ApS 3 1/2 years ago. As a consultant, Tine helps various organizations raise the level of their Information security Tine has a pragmatic approach to things which is always based on the specific business situation. Tine's mantra is to get a handle on the basics; this is mostly achievable within the existing setup and with the existing resources. In addition to helping her various customers, Tine regularly gives presentations on security. In addition, she is a member of the board and the expert committee for information security in Danish IT, she is also a member of the security panel at DK-hostmaster. Tine works also as a part-time teacher at the Copenhagen Business Academy (KEA) on the subject of IT security and has been appointed to the censor corps for Information technology and Interactive Media (IIM).
