Negotiating a new Privacy Shield: What the EU wants to achieve
Description
The European Commission and the US have reached an agreement in principle that will serve as the successor to Privacy Shield but what characterizes Europe's ambitions which in part have caused the negotiations to span almost two years? Alisa Vekeman, one of the key negotiators on the deal, will join us on stage and present some of the EU’s primary goals in securing a new agreement and other areas of data protection that preoccupy the politicians in Bruxelles.
Slides from the presentation will be visible on this site if the speaker in question wishes to share them.
