Organizations today are phasing the ever-increasing evolution of Supply Chain attacks, published vulnerability and targeted campaigns causing data leakage and ransomware attacks. For the third consecutive year in a row, the Security community and companies were again busy patching and implementing protective controls in the holiday period, this time for the Log4Shell vulnerability. With the change of how we publish applications and services, new areas of vulnerabilities are evolving where the “traditional” vulnerable platform focus is shifted to new attack vectors for microservices, Linux platforms, Cloud providers, ML/AI and Open-source tools used in commercial tools. The amount of these attacks with the continued development and commercialization of the threat actors has become a critical challenge for Companies and Security Professionals alike, where we need to rethink our current Security controls and the new strategies & tools available to us in daily operations. In this talk Fortinet will provide an overview on how malicious actors use these new software delivery platforms for malicious activity and real-world attacks, including how to build a strategy to protect the new CI/CD development requirements, so that it is aligned with the organization's Security Strategy and dynamic for business optimization.
