Not surprisingly generative AI took center stage at this year's legal tech gathering at TechTorget in Oslo. It's truly inspiring to witness the number of Norwegian law firms embracing this tech - spanning both the big full-service firms and niche boutiques. Our discussion with Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten highlighted the nuances and considerations around GDPR when using your own documents/data on your own or already trained LLM models (like ChatGPT) A key insight? Not all data is quintessential for your LLM-model. In fact, a concise, high-quality dataset can sometimes enhance your model more than a vast array of information. A hearty "takk" to Louise Krarup from Poul Schmith/Kammeradvokaten for shedding light on the prospects, challenges, and pitfalls of training an LLM-model with one's own data. The potential of leveraging one's own data in pre-existing LLM-models appears both promising and imminent. The future of personalized AI solutions is not just a distant dream but a nearing reality. Digital Transformation in Spain: The Road Ahead! Madrid aims to digitize half of its public sector in just two years. Ambitious? Perhaps, but Spain's action-oriented approach proves they're serious about it. Cleardox spent two insightful days with a Danish Tech delegation. Our journey took us from learning about Spain's national digital strategy at #MadridDigital to understanding strategy at the regional and municipal level. Key Insights: - Spain's public structure is akin to Denmark's: State, Regional, and Municipal levels. - Spain has over 8,000 municipalities! - A whopping 10 billion euros is earmarked for digitization in the next two years. - The goal: Digitize 50% of public administration within this period. - Spain's IT market growth stands at 8.5% CAGR, and it's on the rise. Spain's ecosystem message is clear: "Don't hesitate to introduce us to your stellar products!"
