
Linda Liang is a Research Associate at the Chair for International Relations and Foreign Policy at Heidelberg University, Germany. Her research focuses on Chinese foreign policy, cyberconflicts and popular nationalism. Prior to her current position, Linda has worked as a student researcher at the European Repository of Cyber Incidents database project, and conducted her master thesis on the utility of Chinese cyberattacks in the conflict in the Taiwan strait. In addition, she has worked as a research assistant at the International Institute for Security Studies (IISS) and as a research intern at the Mercator Institute for China Studies (MERICS). She holds an MA in Political Science, and a BA in Political Science and East Asia Studies from Heidelberg University, Germany. She has also studied at Sciences Po Paris and Jiao Tong University Shanghai.
