Teaching and Researching in Security, Privacy and Trust.Christian Damsgaard Jensen’s current research focuses on security in open dynamic systems, such as the Internet. In particular, the development of models, policies and mechanisms to support secure collaboration in open dynamic systems, such as pervasive computing environments, sensor networks and the Internet of Things (IoT). Christian Damsgaard Jensen is particularly interested in the problem of securing interactions between parties who do not necessarily share a common security infrastructure, e.g., sharing resources and information in open smart environments, across multiple organizations or across the Internet.

Much of Christian Damsgaard Jensen’s research address practical issues of privacy, security and trust in Smart Cities, Software Supply Lines (especially related to Open Source Software) Smart Energy Systems, Smart Homes and IoT systems in general.

Specialties: Trust management, identification and authentication in open systems, access control (models, policies and mechanisms), privacy, threat modelling, and the robustness of a digitalized society.
