Willard Rafnsson is an Associate Professor at the IT University of Copenhagen (ITU). He is a member of the Center for Information Security and Trust (CISAT) , as well as the Programming, Logic and Semantics (PLS) and Software Quality Research (SQUARE) groups. He was a visiting researcher at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in 2022. He was previously a Postdoc there, as well as at Max Planck Institute for Software Systems (MPI-SWS). He did his PhD at Chalmers University of Technology.

Willard is currently leading a knowledge- and capacity-building project on Full-Stack Cybersecurity for Danish Defense, funded by the National Defense Technology Centre (NFC).
