Ellis has over 15 years experience split across technology platforms, SaaS providers and Security tooling, assisting businesses and public service organisations to improve their cybersecurity posture. He began his career in the wide area networking space with Star Technology and later Claranet, leading their development from traditional ISP to a more holistic offering including cloud transformation and application hosting. His experience of working across vendors like Messagelabs, Symantec.cloud, Intel, McAfee have helped shape the journey of Rapid7’s Threat & XDR Practice across EMEA. So far on this journey Ellis has helped Rapid7 navigate the change from infrastructure focused intelligence to one including Endpoint, Log, Network and External Threat intelligence. Whilst the journey is never finished, Ellis and the Rapid7 Team continue to help organisations to manage threats and risk within their businesses.
