Yariv started hacking the Linux kernel over 20 years ago, and after managing teams and groups of embedded Linux developers, moved to software architecture and product management roles in Cisco. In Palo Alto Networks, Yariv led the behavioral analytics product line (part of the Cortex XDR platform) and oversaw all research and detection aspects. Switching to API security, Yariv was the VP of Product Management in Neosec, a startup acquired by Akamai last May; he is now the Senior Director of Product Management in charge of API Security at Akamai.
