Last week, Partner and Head of Advisory, Christian Max Hansen, and Head of Markets, Mia Terese Duelund, participated in Above & Beyond Group's Diversity Council for an inspiring day. The theme of the day was the crucial topic of establishing a sense of belonging amongst employees. Some key insights include: 💡 Young employees expect leadership to demonstrate appreciation, respect, and provide feedback. A sense of belonging is vital for the younger generations. 💡 Innovation and adaptability skyrockets when leadership approaches the needs and expectations of the younger employees. 💡Integrating social responsibility into business strategies boosts team loyalty and engagement while showing a distinct market approach. Thank you to the speakers who provided great insights and perspectives on the topic! At KPMG, we have immense focus on this and are happy that our sounding boards, ally groups and other initiatives are pointing us in the right direction. We can and will always improve and look forward to continuing the discussions both internally and externally.

Something exciting is happening at our headquarters in Copenhagen...👇 Since 2014 we have been on quite a journey, expanding from one to six strategically located offices across Denmark to better serve our clients. Over the past 10 years, we have also relocated our headquarters to our current location at Dampfærgevej - and now it is time for a change. While we are not moving, there is more noise in the office than usual as we undergo renovations, creating an even better place for our employees to work and thrive. So, stay tuned! We look forward to welcoming clients, employees and friends of the house to our fresh and updated premises very soon🎉

Is legislation and compliance in AI a catalyst or a showstopper? This Tech Talk episode discusses the legal aspect of AI and contains a lot of ethical considerations, as to whether legislation promotes or inhibits the use of AI. In ethics, it is good to abide by the rules. Therefore, host Bent Dalager invited lawyer Michael Hopp from Plesner's Data Protection Law team to discuss implications and considerations both for the individual and the society together with AI ethicist Sune Holm from Københavns Universitet - University of Copenhagen. AI can serve a lot of good purposes. One of them is combating payment fraud, and this case from Nexi Group is a great example of just that. In collaboration with KPMG, Nexi has deployed an AI-powered payment fraud prevention solution, which leverages machine learning algorithms and data analytics to analyse vast amounts of transaction data in real-time and identify fraudulent patterns and anomalies. Some of the results achieved by Nexi Group are: 📉 Reduced instances of payment fraud by 40%, safeguarding both Nexi and its customers from financial losses. 🤖 Enhanced operational efficiency by automating fraud detection processes. Being an AI superhero is all about building and strengthening yourself through AI in four steps! Our very own Casper Guldager talked about this at Applied AI yesterday, and he is practicing what he preaches. Casper is using AI in almost everything he does. Measuring and quantifying to improve himself and find blind spots in his everyday work. This in turn makes him one of our top advisors on AI using his deep superhero-understanding to find the best solutions for our clients. An inspiring day in DR Koncerthuset together with moderator Barbara Myhre Isaksen, Cassie Kozyrkov, Natalie Schnippering, Rasmus N., Dan Rose Johansen, Lasse Daniel Sander Jensen, Natasha Norsker and 600 guests with a thirst for AI. Thank you for contributing to Applied AI Nordics and Todai for setting it up. And lastly - thank you all for leading the AI movement by sharing concrete examples and hard-earned experiences.
