I don’t post often about specific companies, but I want to call out SecurityScorecard for disrupting the security ratings market. Their innovative approach, with insights and action, is reshaping our industry. After thoroughly evaluating various solutions -- my team and I were impressed and relieved to finally find a platform that effectively manages supply chain and partner risk. We love the UI, scalability, and the data has depth and breadth. Aligning to technology that many of our partners, insurers, and clients use allows us to speak a common language and improve our overall risk profile. I know many of my CISO peers agree with me, and I’m also grateful to several of their leaders who I've met: Aleksandr Yampolskiy, Sachin Bansal, and Christos Kalantzis. Great work, and keep it up!

Dark Reading: Today's article by Rob Lemos highlights the challenges companies face in meeting the SEC's four-day breach disclosure rule. At SecurityScorecard, we recognize the immense pressure this places on CISOs and their teams. Our CISO Steve Cobb discussed new emerging cybersecurity disclosure considerations: "In the case of a breach, publicly traded companies want more control over how their third-party providers respond to an incident — in some cases, they proposed to take over the incident-response process or wanted the third-party provider to determine within hours whether a breach could be material."
