Happy Pride! At Elastic, we celebrate Pride Season, inclusive of global Pride celebrations in June and July. Inclusion and acceptance are core to our Source Code tenant, As YOU, Are. We stand proud with our Rainbow Stack Employee Resource Group, supporting LGBTQIA+ rights and equality. This year, our Elastic Cares featured organization for Pride Season is ShoutOut — a nonprofit delivering educational workshops on LGBTQ+ inclusion to schools, services, and workplaces across Ireland. We’re proud to partner with ShoutOut and support 200% donation matching for all Elasticians. A year ago, we kicked off FY24 by releasing the Elasticsearch Relevance Engine, including our vector database and our sparse encoder model, ELSER. Throughout the year, we continued to strengthen our position as the platform of choice for building real-time GenAI applications. In the past year, Principal Support Engineer Mike Wong’s life has transformed. He hit some pretty major milestones: becoming a dad to twins, buying a house, and moving across the country. With his twins on the way, Mike and his wife decided to take part of their parental leave right after their daughters were born, and then take the last part later in the year when developmentally their daughters were more aware. “Elastic's parental leave was huge,” says Mike. “We were trying to think about it strategically. Being able to split it up is unique and amazing.” Being a working parent has taught Mike that, "You don’t know what you don’t know. And in this period of life I realized just how much I don’t know.” Returning to work after parental leave afforded him the new challenge of figuring out the balance between work and parenthood. However, he says, Elastic allows him to “show up as a whole person.” “Because Elastic is family-centric and supportive, we have the flexibility to alternate focus and set up the day to adjust to focus on our families.” Learn more about our paid parental leave benefit on our careers page: https://go.es.io/4eeyUzJ #LifeAtElastic #AsWeAre

We recently held Sales Kick off (SKO) in Las Vegas, bringing together Elasticians from across our global sales organization for an inspiring week of collaboration and celebration. From leadership keynotes, to product demos and roadmaps, to the SKO global awards ceremony — the energy and excitement was undeniable. A huge thank you to our customer speakers Ketan Patel, Ian Lee, Matt Newman, Lisa Bazis, Clayton Hubbard, Hans Tool, and Brian Wills who joined us to share the excitement at SKO, including a panel discussion with Elastic Chief Customer Officer Rick Laner. It’s always an incredible moment when Elasticians come together in person. We look forward to delivering for our customers this fiscal year and beyond.

That's a wrap at #MSBuild! Thank you to all who joined us virtually and in person in Seattle. For Jeeta Gandhi, brand strategy program manager at Elastic, finding a supportive community and sharing her heritage has always been important to her. As a first-generation Indian American, navigating her Indian heritage and American surroundings was a delicate balance. At Elastic, she was quick to join our ElastAsians Employee Resource Group (ERG). “I really like to travel and learn about other cultures,” she says. “So when I saw ElastAsians I got to know the leaders and went to the meetings to see how I could help.” Since joining the ERG, Jeeta has found ways to share her heritage with others — from presenting on Diwali and leading a virtual dance lesson. "I've found acceptance here," Jeeta says. “I've learned that stepping out of my comfort zone is where the most significant growth occurs. Finding your voice, having a support system, people celebrating you — a lot of that comes from connection, whether it’s through music, art, food. There are all sorts of ways to connect with people.” Read more about Jeeta’s story on the blog: https://go.es.io/4e6jugT #LifeAtElastic #AAPIHeritage #ElastAsians
